Westlund's Apple Market

I can’t say enough about this place and I’m so glad to have it in my neighborhood. Locally owned grocery store with a really good selection of just about anything you need. The store is clean and well stocked and the staff are always very friendly and helpful. They have a portion of an aisle dedicated to vinyl records which is a really nice bonus. It’s not the biggest selection in the world, but they will special order something for you if they don’t have it. And then there’s the hot food portion of the deli. Every day they have some of the best fried chicken you’ll find in town, along with a ton of sides including mashed potatoes and gravy and mac and cheese, both of which are delicious. You can get a 4-piece meal (one breast, thigh, wing, leg) with two sides and two rolls for around $10. They also have a “special” every day. I’ve had the Korean barbecue chicken wings and some kind of honey chicken tenders and they were both delicious. If we want to eat out, this has become one of our go-to places because the food is always fresh and always good.

Went here just before Christmas to get some plastic containers to store cookies so that I didn't have to go into one of the big grocery stores. Huge plus that it wasn't busy. They only had one size of ziploc containers which I guess is to be expected in a smaller grocery store... the selection is compromised. I ended up finding some containers that were a better size in their seasonal aisle. Overall a nice little store if you need a few things. Service was friendly

Amazing grocery store. Love this little higher gem on Lansing Eastside. Good variety. Great prices (a lot of stuffs cheaper then other grocery stores) The staff here is the best, kind, courteous and very helpful. Amazing workers. The deli food is the best. Made daily. Lots of people come here for lunch. Good stuff. And this place is crazy clean. This has to be the cleanest grocery store I've ever been in. See my pics. And this isn't a chain store. One of a kind local. I love supporting local places. I highly recommend this place. Worth checking out.

I have been going to the Apple Market for years. They have the best deli and hot bar around. Every day there is something different. I go every Friday for the Cod. Everyone who works there is always kind and caring and I've never had a bad experience. This is a gem of a store located close to my neighborhood. They make many of their deli food and hot food. I also love their fried chicken as it's the best. I would ask that everyone give them a try and see for yourself. It's great to support a local, smaller grocery store.

I love this store. It is in fact the little store on the corner I grew up with. Just I grew up elsewhere. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The deli counter is amazing. The biggest plus is they carry cold food from Aladdin's in Frandor. Update: they have per their Facebook something similar to Leon's. My mother-in-law can't tell the difference and is super happy with it.
